It is imperative to know what a cache memory is before you delete it and why cache files are created.
So basically, Cache memory is an extremely fast memory type that acts as a buffer between RAM and the CPU. It holds frequently requested data and instructions so that they are immediately available to the CPU when needed.
You can manually delete cache files. In the previous android versions it was facilitated to the users to delete all cache files at once. For ex open Settings > Storage > Cached Data and tap on clear data.
Using Android 10, kindly follow the steps to manually delete cache on your phone.

- You will see a option Cached Data, Click on There
- Now a popup will be appeared : “Clear cached data ? This will clear cached data for all apps “
- Now click on OK.

How Often Can You Clear Your Cache?
Android does not need your help to optimize it’s use of cache. Leave it alone. The operating system will clear old information when it needs more resources. Manual or automatic clearing actually hurts your phone’s speed. Why?
Cache is stored in case it is needed again. It was developed just so it would not be necessary to reload information when called upon. Most apps use the same information over and over, so leaving the cache actually speeds up your phone and saves battery–not the other way around.
If you are constantly cleaning out the cache, then Android no longer has feedback in how to best utilize it. Android learns with time and you are preventing that optimization. Android is not Windows. It is designed to keep the memory nearly full.
In general, all cleaning apps are harmful to use. After awhile, the operating system just stops doing its own housekeeping. Why vacuum weekly when someone is doing it daily.
The only time you should manually clean cache, apps, or memory is if an obvious glitch is causing a problem. Otherwise, let Android do its job.
